Job Overview
This position will be responsible for the design of new products, as well as support of existing products in our high-performance accelerometer portfolio. Responsibilities will encompass architecture generation through detailed design and verification testing. A successful candidate will have a background in analog electrical engineering and have the ability to work closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing functions.
Responsibilities Include:
· Independently design and test of analog and digital circuits and systems
· Execute project subtasks by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware development
· Perform simulations, data analysis, define test procedures, and review results to determine compliance to requirements
· Status reporting to senior technical staff and direct management
· Assemble and present material for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews
· Drive new product development to schedule and budget
· Support factory RCCA activity
YOU MUST HAVE
· Bachelor's in electrical engineering
· Minimum of four years of related engineering experience with analog circuits and systems
· Hands-on experience with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers
· have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
WE VALUE
· Demonstrated experience with analog circuitry and precision electronics
· Knowledge and/or experience with the design and testing of precision accelerometers
· Good understanding of fundamental physics
· Experience with performing worst-case analysis
· Experience with Matlab, Mathcad, Simulink, and Spice design tools
· Experience with Arduino programming and data collection
· Ability to make data based and timely decisions while balancing risk
· Familiar with Six Sigma Methods
· Demonstrate excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in use of Office Suite of programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
