Position: Electrical Engineer (Site) – Industrial Projects

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer (Site) to join our supervision team for industrial projects in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power distribution, control systems, and electrical installations for industrial facilities, such as factories, warehouses, processing plants, or utilities. The role requires solid technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and familiarity with Saudi codes and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect all electrical works at the project site, including medium and low voltage systems, control panels, lighting, earthing, and grounding systems.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with design and project specifications.
• Monitor and ensure the installation of cable trays, conduits, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and control systems are executed per approved standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve site-related technical issues.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Saudi Electrical Code, SEC standards, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Review testing and commissioning plans, witness functional and performance tests for electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain daily site reports, record inspections, and track progress against project schedules.
• Support QA/QC activities and ensure that all installations meet safety, reliability, and quality standards.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings, providing technical input and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical site supervision for industrial projects (factories, plants, utilities, or warehouses).
• Proven experience in medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) systems, power and control wiring, and equipment installations.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation, PLC panels, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and familiar with electrical design and coordination drawings.
• Thorough knowledge of Saudi regulations, SEC, and Aramco standards is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and site coordination skills.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working with industrial consultants or EPC contractors in KSA or GCC.
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning of large-scale electrical systems.
• Experience in hazardous area classification and industrial safety standards.
