To ensure the efficient design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to support uninterrupted production operations and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and supervise the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and automation equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection of electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in production and utility equipment and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for new electrical projects.
- Coordinate with the mechanical and production teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute energy conservation and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Supervise electricians and maintenance staff; provide technical guidance and training when required.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and repairs for management reporting.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for project execution and equipment procurement.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Sc. / B.Tech).
- Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Certifications: PEC Registration preferred (if applicable).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of electrical design, power systems, PLCs, and automation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
