Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. The role involves project planning, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient and reliable operation of electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and supervise the installation of electrical systems and components.

· Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and layouts for electrical projects.

· Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies for new projects.

· Ensure compliance with safety codes, standards, and company policies.

· Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in machinery, equipment, and installations.

· Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and clients for project execution.

· Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure timely completion.

· Maintain and test electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and recommend upgrades.

· Stay updated on the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering.

· Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

· Experience: 2–5 years in electrical design, installation, or maintenance (varies by seniority).

· Skills:

o Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).

o Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

o Problem-solving and analytical skills.

o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• o Effective communication and teamwork skills.
