⚡ Hiring: Electrical Engineer – Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Desalination Plant

📍 Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Join a world-class operations and maintenance team supporting one of Saudi Arabia’s most advanced Reverse Osmosis (RO) water desalination facilities . This role offers the opportunity to ensure plant reliability, availability, and electrical system performance through expert maintenance, leadership, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and outage maintenance of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and control panels .
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical assets across high-pressure pumps, energy recovery systems, and treatment units .
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical faults to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Manage electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance documentation using SAP CMMS .
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input on upgrades, modifications, or replacements of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with EPC, OEM, and internal departments to ensure technical compliance and operational excellence.
• Prepare material forecasts, spare parts requirements, and annual maintenance plans for electrical systems.
• Ensure adherence to HSE, QA/QC, and environmental standards during all plant activities.
• Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and technicians, promoting safe and efficient work practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years’ experience in electrical maintenance within water desalination (RO) or utility plants , with at least 2 years in a supervisory role .
• Strong technical knowledge of LV/MV/HV systems, motors, drives, and protection relays .
• Familiarity with RO plant electrical systems , including variable frequency drives and high-pressure pump control.
• Hands-on experience in predictive and preventive maintenance and outage management.
• Proficiency in SAP CMMS and maintenance reporting systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and O&M best practices.
• Fluent in English ; Arabic an advantage.
