Electrical Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of proven experience in the construction or real estate development industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising electrical systems for residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Responsibilities:

· Design, review, and approve electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-current systems.

· Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documentation.

· Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.

· Supervise on-site electrical installations and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

· Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

· Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

· Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

· Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues or design discrepancies.

· Support cost control, value engineering, and material selection where required.

· Prepare reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction or real estate development industries.

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems for buildings (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).

· Familiarity with local authority regulations, electrical codes, and safety standards.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/design software.

· Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
