Engineer Experience Requirements:

The experience requirements for an electrical engineer or Mechanical Engineering depend upon the organisation, industry and scope of the role. Generally, electrical engineer candidates may need 1 to 3 years of experience working in a role like junior electrical engineer. Senior-level electrical engineer roles may require at least 1 year of experience. Additionally, organisations may also need electrical engineer candidates to have experience in areas like circuit design, power generation and distribution. For certain project-oriented roles, organisations may prefer candidates with experience managing projects, engineering design and equipment installation.

An Electrical Engineer, or Power Engineer, is a professional who designs, develops and maintains electrical systems and equipment. Their duties include designing, installing and testing electrical products and systems, troubleshooting power system problems and ensuring that the systems comply with safety and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

An engineer has to perform various tasks while working on projects related to digital systems, signal processing and power systems. Here are some of the duties and responsibilities of an electrical engineer:

• GIS Installation and its quality control and testing of GIS Equipment
• Designing and testing electrical systems and components
• Conducting testing to ensure the systems and components meet safety standards
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while implementing and maintaining electrical systems
• Documenting testing activities and specifications of electrical components and systems
• Staying updated about new technologies, industry standards and regulations
• Training junior engineers and technicians.

Engineer Skills and Qualifications:

A successful electrical or Mechanical engineer should have various pre-requisite skills and qualifications to perform their role effectively. Here are some of them:

• Knowledge of Gas insulated switchgear installation and its design engineering
• Ability in GIS equipment installation and its testing
• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and practices
• Ability to draft and design plans and schematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical project management skills and experience
• Excellent communication skills and English is mandatory
• Ability to design and test electrical systems
• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in GIS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
