Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and coordinating all electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and execute electrical design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Supervise installation of electrical systems including:
• Power distribution systems
• Lighting systems
• ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Data & Telephone)
• Earthing and lightning protection systems
• Coordinate with MEP team, consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with local authority regulations and project specifications.
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems before handover.
• Handle load calculations, cable sizing, transformer & generator selection.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support.
• Ensure implementation of safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Manage subcontractors and manpower at site.
• Prepare as-built drawings and close-out documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and international codes (IEC, BS, NFPA).
• Experience in handling projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
• Strong knowledge of DEWA/SEWA/ADDC regulations (UAE preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in UAE high-rise residential/commercial towers.
• Knowledge of value engineering.
• Experience in authority approvals and inspections.
• Leadership and team management ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
