Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Reviewing and approving electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and design schematics for lighting, pumps, and automation systems.
• Site Supervision & Installation: Overseeing the installation of conduits, wiring, lighting fixtures, and control systems for landscape projects to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Irrigation Automation: Integrating electrical components with Automated Irrigation Systems (AIS), including pumps, controllers, and sensors.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all installations meet UAE safety standards (grounding, fault protection) and local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality).
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Implementing corrective actions, identifying issues, and maintaining lighting and pump systems post-installation.
• Project Management: Conducting site inspections, managing contractors/vendors, and providing reports on progress, risks, and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience, with specific experience in landscape or outdoor electrical works, often including public space renovations.
• Local Experience: Strong knowledge of DEWA, RTA, and UAE building codes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
• Additional: Strong leadership skills to lead a team and excellent communication skills for client interaction.
