Sales Engineer - Electrical

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer – Electrical (Switchgear products )to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for switchgear products and related electrical solutions across key industries in the UAE.

The Sales Engineer will focus on promoting and selling LV & MV Switchgear systems, including panel boards, distribution boards, motor control centers (MCC), protection relays, and associated electrical components. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring successful project execution in coordination with engineering and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for switchgear products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Marine, Infrastructure, and Industrial projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, end-users, and EPC companies.
• Prepare techno-commercial offers, tender submissions, and cost estimations.
• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure technical compliance and timely project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively.
• Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales of LV & MV Switchgear solutions in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and switchgear components.
• Familiarity with UAE industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Self-motivated with strong business development skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE as required.
