Electrical Engineer

Peters Engineering, a Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Consulting Engineering firm providing services since 1969, is seeking to fill a full-time Electrical Engineer position in our Sacramento office.

Duties include engineering and design of construction documents including specifications, analysis of various electrical systems, reports, studies, construction schedules and budgets, project management, construction administration, utility coordination, client meetings.

Must be a self-starter capable of managing own projects to meet client schedules, company project budget and assist the team as a whole.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience in the following areas is desired: Commercial building power and lighting; Site lighting; Architectural lighting design; Lighting control design; Fire alarm; Low voltage systems for telephone/data, clock, and security.

Experience in any of the following areas a plus: Data centers; Hospitals, High technology industries; Industrial facilities that include medium to high voltage systems; Generator systems, Paralleled or transferred with utility; UPS systems; Arc flash analysis; Breaker coordination & protective relay studies; AutoCAD and REVIT.

Possessing an E.I.T. certification or a professional engineer’s license is also a plus but not required.

Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 Depending on experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
