Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. If you have a UPDA grade (B or A), minimum 10 years of experience (with at least 3 years in Qatar), and possess a Qatar Driving License, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct equipment and breaker sizing, cable sizing, panel schedule creation, cable schedule management, cable tray sizing and layout, and conduit pipe sizing and layout.
• Prepare electrical material submittals and material schedules.
• Develop spreadsheets for electrical load schedules and perform take-offs and create BOQ/BOM based on consultant drawings.
• Generate electrical shop drawings.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, resolve technical queries during the construction phase, and supervise the erection and installation of electrical components such as transformers, PCC/PMCC, junction boxes, cable trays, conduits, instrument panels, control room panels, system cabinets, and cable laying.
• Plan, supervise, and execute the installation of electrical and instrument cables, including MV/LV, control, signal, F&G, and fiber optic cables.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly the Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required.

Requirements:

• UPDA grade (B or A).
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar Driving License.
