Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • General supervision and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of electrical systems at construction sites.
  • Supervising all execution staff and workers at the project site.
  • Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with Government (DEWA, ADDC, Dubai/ Abu Dhabi municipality) standards for electrical works.
  • Submit data sheet for daily, weekly, monthly reports to Project Manager.
  • Executing works as per approved Shop Drawings & Method of Statements.
  • Planning the work as per the requirement of consultant/client, assigning duties for Foreman's/Supervisors as per the panning, managing materials and manpower.
  • Coordination with Specialist/Supplier/Subcontractors of Security, CCTV, Fire Alarm, CBS, Structured Cabling, etc... for submittals and site coordination.
  • Regularly coordinating with Main contractor to complete MEP works in line with site progress.
  • Responsible for preparation of project from concept design stage to detailed design stage including workshop with client for their requirement.
  • Responsible for review of project and joint discussion with concern parties.
  • Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
  • Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
  • Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
  • Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
  • Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
  • Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  • Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
  • Maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Working with a variety of technicians.

Experience:

  • Electrical Engineer in UAE: 5 years (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
