Electrical Engineer

Role Purpose

Provide on-site support for electrical systems, including design review, installation, testing, and commissioning of various electrical packages.

Key Accountabilities

•  Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on site, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with required standards and project timelines.
•  Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the timely delivery and installation of electrical systems and materials.
•  Ensure all work is executed in accordance with the latest approved shop drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
•  Liaise with the project team to coordinate the integration of electrical systems with other building services, including HVAC and fire protection systems.
•  Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure electrical installations comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
•  Ensure adherence to HSE policies and quality management systems in all electrical-related activities.
•  Report all incidents, risks, and non-compliances related to electrical systems and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive innovation and encourage continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions without  compromising quality.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university or college.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience with well-established contracting companies.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards related to electrical systems.
• Demonstrated perseverance and a strong work ethic.
• Effective stress management skills.Strong problem-solving skills.
