Electrical Engineer - Alex Plant

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

Coca-Cola HBC is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Alex Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components, ensuring all projects comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion.

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot electrical faults across production lines (Blow Molding, Filling, Capping, Labeling, Packing) and utility systems (compressors, boilers, refrigeration, power distribution).
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and automation improvements.
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS (Movilizer/SAP) for breakdowns, work orders, and PM tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Coca-Cola HBC safety standards and local regulations.
• Contribute to energy-saving projects and ISO 50001 initiatives.

ARE THESE YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (FMCG/food & beverage preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge in:
• • PLC systems: Siemens (S7, TIA Portal, WinCC) and B&R.
  • Automation communications protocols: AS-I, Profibus, ProfNet, and Powerlink.
  • Drives and motion systems: Servo drives, servo motors, encoders, and positioning systems.
  • control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English.
