Electrical Engineer Construction site Experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Works Execution

• Plan, supervise, and execute complete electrical wiring works (power, lighting, and control circuits) for multi-floor construction buildings.
• Prepare and verify DB (Distribution Board) layouts, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and as-built drawings.
• Supervise DB fabrication, wiring, and termination as per approved design and standards.
• Coordinate installation of conduits, trunking, cable trays, and wiring for lighting and small power systems.

2. Site Coordination & Supervision

• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, and Finishing teams to ensure electrical works are properly integrated with other trades.
• Ensure timely material requests (cables, lights, DB components, conduits, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure work progress as per schedule.

3. Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, and earthing tests.
• Ensure proper connection of DBs, protective devices, and earthing systems.
• Prepare and maintain all testing and commissioning documentation.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical works are carried out as per UAE Civil Defense, ADDC/DEWA, and relevant authority regulations.
• Follow site HSE procedures and ensure team compliance during all electrical activities.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Maintain updated records of DB load schedules, cable schedules, and drawings.
• Support the project handover process with complete documentation and testing reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
