Electrical Engineer (CRPEP License) - Bahrain Location

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer registered with CRPEP (any grade)) to join our fire-fighting systems division. The selected candidate will oversee electrical design, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and coordination of fire alarm, fire pump control systems, emergency wiring, and all electrical components related to active and passive fire-protection projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering
• Prepare electrical designs, load calculations, single-line diagrams (SLD), and shop drawings for fire detection and fire-fighting systems.
• Review and approve electrical submittals, material selections, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with Bahrain Civil Defense Codes, NFPA standards, and EWA regulations.
• Project Execution & Supervision
• Supervise installation of electrical works including:
• Fire alarm systems
• Fire pump controllers & MCC panels
• Emergency lighting and exit lighting systems
• Fire suppression system controls (FM200, NOVEC, CO₂, etc.)
• Monitor site progress, coordinate with contractors, technicians, and project teams.
• Conduct site inspections, attend technical meetings, and resolve electrical issues on-site.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, as-built drawings, and inspection reports.
• Support Civil Defense submissions and approval processes.
• Maintain accurate project records, technical logs, and commissioning reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• CRPEP Registration (any grade) – Mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in electrical works within fire-fighting, fire alarm, or MEP industries.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, Bahrain Civil Defense rules, and local electrical regulations.
• Experience with major fire alarm brands (Honeywell, GST, Siemens, Notifier, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead site teams.
