Electrical Engineer (Facilities Management)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong background in Facilities Management (FM) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable performance of electrical systems and Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) across managed facilities, while supporting overall building operations and service continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems within facilities
• Ensure proper operation, testing, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) and life safety systems
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities within Facilities Management operations
• Supervise technicians, contractors, and service providers
• Conduct troubleshooting for electrical and low-current/ELV systems
• Monitor building services performance and ensure minimal downtime
• Review maintenance reports, service logs, and inspection findings
• Ensure compliance with FM standards, safety regulations, and site procedures
• Support emergency response and restoration of critical systems

Requirements

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
✔ Minimum 7 years of experience in Facilities Management
✔ Strong hands-on knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
✔ Experience in managing electrical systems in FM environment (commercial/residential buildings, complexes, etc.)
✔ Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and ELV systems
✔ Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and FM best practices
✔ Good communication and coordination skills with operational teams
