Electrical Engineer - Facility Maintenance

Our client, a reputable facilities management service provider, is currently looking to hire an Electrical Engineer with strong Facilities Management (FM) experience for a health center project located in Al Wajbah & Muaither – Qatar. This is a short-term contract with the possibility of extension, and candidates available to join immediately are highly preferred.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Facilities Management) – Health Center Project
Location: Al Wajbah & Muaither – Qatar
Employment Type: Contract – 4 Month (extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Salary: QAR 6,500 (all-inclusive full package)
Working Hours: 8 hours/day + 1-hour break
Working Days: 6 days/week

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have proven Facilities Management (FM) experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Must hold a valid Facilities Management experience certificate.
• Only candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering will be considered.
• Candidates without the required certificates or degrees will not be considered.

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily FM operations related to electrical systems at the assigned health centers. This includes supervising maintenance activities, ensuring systems run efficiently and safely, and coordinating with site teams and service vendors. The role requires a proactive engineer capable of responding quickly to site issues while ensuring high service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily electrical maintenance activities within the health center premises
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure all electrical systems comply with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Coordinate with internal FM teams, contractors, and third-party service providers to ensure continuous service availability
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults and equipment failures promptly
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection checklists, and prepare detailed daily/weekly reports
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards specific to healthcare facilities
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and technicians as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Experience working in healthcare or similar highly regulated environments
• Proficient in technical documentation and MS Office tools
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid Qatari Driving License and own vehicle (preferred)
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
