Electrical Engineer-MEP

Job Summary:

Jascon Engineering WLL is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer - MEP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, execution, and maintenance of electrical systems in MEP projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and overseeing project progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and commission electrical systems for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in cost estimation, procurement, and selection of electrical materials and equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards in MEP engineering.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum [3 to 5] of experience in MEP projects, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, etc.).
• Familiarity with international and local electrical codes (IEC, NEC, BS, DEWA, KAHRAMAA, etc.).
• Experience in handling LV, MV, and ELV systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Certifications (if any):

• UPDA,LEED, PMP, or relevant MEP certifications (if applicable).
• GCC experience is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
