Electrical Engineer (MEP)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Electrical Engineer with experience in building construction projects to join our team in Dubai. The candidate must have strong technical expertise in Electrical & Plumbing systems, hands-on site handling experience, and the ability to manage clients, consultants, and project teams effectively. The role requires excellent communication, technical knowledge of DEWA regulations, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a valid UAE light driving license.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage electrical and plumbing works at construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of works and timely resolution of technical/site issues.
• Prepare, review, and modify AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as required for electrical and plumbing services.
• Ensure all site activities adhere to Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and relevant authority guidelines.
• Monitor project progress, prepare site reports, and escalate issues to the Project Manager for timely decision-making.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and material approvals in line with project requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery of approved materials and services.
• Provide technical input during design, execution, testing, and commissioning stages of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with consultants and clients to achieve smooth project handover.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards on site.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 9 years’ experience in building construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical & Plumbing systems in high-rise / commercial / residential building projects.
• Familiarity with DEWA regulations, approvals, and processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software tools.
• Excellent site handling, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling abilities.
• Proven ability to manage consultants, resolve technical conflicts, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Valid UAE Light Driving License (mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
