The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber
Electrical Engineer
to join a prestigious developer managing a landmark mixed-use and hospitality destination in
Madinah
.
In this "Owner-Side" role, you will represent the client’s interests, ensuring that all electrical construction, from Medium Voltage (MV) to specialized Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), meets world-class hospitality standards and Saudi Building Codes. You will be the technical authority overseeing PMCs, Supervision Consultants, and Tier-1 Contractors.
Key Responsibilities

Brand Standards & Design Integrity:
Act as the guardian of International Hospitality Brand Standards for all electrical and low-current systems.

Consultant & Contractor Accountability:
Audit the Supervision Consultant (SC) and PMC to ensure strict adherence to material quality, technical specifications, and contractual turnaround times.

Cost & Value Engineering:
Critically validate VE proposals to ensure capital savings do not compromise long-term operational efficiency or system quality.

Quality Audit & Compliance:
Conduct periodic site audits to verify that installed materials match pre-approved designs and Operator Standards.

Risk & Schedule Control:
Proactively identify delays in transmittals (Shop Drawings, RFIs, IRs) to mitigate schedule risks and contractor claims.

Testing & Commissioning (T&C):
Guarantee that system performance strictly meets the functional criteria set in the original design and Operator Standards.

Handover Management:
Provide final technical approval for As-Built drawings and O&M manuals to ensure a seamless asset transfer.
The Ideal Candidate

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:
10–15 years of total experience, with a heavy focus on
Hospitality/Hotel
or large-scale mixed-use projects.

Regional Expertise:
Minimum of
5 years in the GCC
(KSA experience is highly preferred).

Technical Mastery:
Deep knowledge of MV/LV, UPS, Generators, Earthing, GRMS, Dimmable Lighting, Fire Alarms, and ICT systems.

Codes & Standards:
Expert-level understanding of IEC, NFPA, NEC, and
SBC (Saudi Building Code)
.

Professional Status:
Must be registered with the
Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)

Stakeholder Management:
Proven ability to manage relationships with Architects, Government Authorities, and Consultancy firms using a non-adversarial, solution-oriented approach.
