Job Purpose
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical engineering coordination for plant-related equipment such as 400kV GIS, shunt reactors and associated systems on the ICAD V project.

Roles & Responsibilities
-
Provide engineering support for project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.

Coordinate with OEMs and design teams for engineering deliverables related to 400kV GIS, shunt reactors, and other associated equipment.

Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Support site teams in resolving technical issues during installation and testing.

Liaise with procurement and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and inspection of electrical equipment.

Assist in preparing method statements, test procedures, and commissioning plans.

Prepare and submit the weekly progress reports to the project manager, detailing the status of ongoing activities.
Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification:
-
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Experience
-
A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in power transmission projects, preferably involving high-voltage equipment.
Skills & Knowledge

Possess strong understanding of substation equipment and electrical systems.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
