Electrical Engineer/ Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and execute electrical installations, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure electrical works are completed as per schedule and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and resolve electrical issues, technical problems, and site-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, DEWA regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Review and approve electrical materials and ensure they meet project specifications.
• Manage and supervise electrical technicians and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as civil, mechanical, HVAC, and interior fit-out teams.
• Assist in project planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems including lighting, power, ELV, and control systems.
• Ensure proper documentation, reports, and project records are maintained.
• Support project handover process including snagging, inspections, and final approvals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, MEP, or fit-out projects (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and standards.
• Knowledge of DEWA regulations and authority approvals is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
