Electrical Engineer – QCDD Certified

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with QCDD certification and at least 5 years of professional experience, including mandatory experience in Facility Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical systems across various facilities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing energy efficiency and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across all client facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Civil Defense (QCD), Kahramaa, and other regulatory authority standards.
• Supervise and inspect the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (LV, MV).
• Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance works.
• Review electrical drawings, technical submittals, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare reports on energy usage, system performance, and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding electrical works and upgrades.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to the maintenance team and junior engineers.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with HSE standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• QCDD Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience,
• Facility Management Experience Prefered.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Fire Alarm, Lighting, BMS, and power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and energy management tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be currently residing in Qatar with a transferable visa and NOC.
