Electrical Engineer -Saudi National

DACO is seeking a highly motivated and competent Electrical Engineer (Saudi National ) to support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure and construction projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, supervising, and ensuring the efficient execution of electrical systems in compliance with Saudi regulations and international standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Review

  • Review and validate electrical design drawings, load schedules, and single-line diagrams.
  • Evaluate shop drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications and standards.
  • Review material submittals and ensure compliance with approved project requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants for drawing approvals and technical clarifications.

Site Supervision & Execution

  • Supervise installation of electrical systems including:
  • MV/LV power distribution systems
  • Street lighting systems (for road projects)
  • Building lighting and power systems
  • Low current systems (CCTV, fire alarm, data, etc.)
  • Ensure works are executed as per approved IFC drawings.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and quality of installation.
  • Conduct routine inspections and prepare site observation reports.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Saudi Building Code (SBC)
  • SEC standards (if applicable)
  • Project technical specifications
  • Health & safety regulations
  • Participate in testing & commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Support QA/QC team in inspections and closing NCRs.

Project Coordination & Reporting

  • Attend progress and coordination meetings.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Support in BOQ verification and quantity tracking.
  • Assist in cost control and material planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Saudi National (Mandatory).
  • Valid and active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, and low current systems.
  • Familiarity with SEC standards and Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and preferably Revit/BIM.
  • Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and site coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in multiple project locations across the Kingdom.
