Position: Senior Solar Engineer

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Qatar

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solar Engineer with a strong background in solar energy systems design, implementation, and project management. The ideal candidate must hold a valid MMUP/UPDA certification (Grade A, B, or C) and have extensive experience in large-scale solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solar PV systems (rooftop and utility-scale).
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy yield analysis.
• Prepare technical proposals, drawings, and system layouts.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution.
• Monitor system performance and provide optimization solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in solar/renewable energy projects.
• Mandatory MMUP/UPDA certification (Grade A, B, or C).
• Strong knowledge of solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
• Experience with Qatar regulations and Kahramaa standards is preferred.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale or utility solar projects.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
