Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer (Testing & Commissioning) to join our team for a 4-month contract in Lusail, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems in large-scale infrastructure or building projects and must hold a valid freelancer visa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems including LV, MV equipment, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure timely and successful commissioning.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, reports, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety protocols, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during commissioning.
• Support inspections and approvals by consultants and authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of LV and MV systems, protection systems, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Proficient in using testing tools and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid freelancer visa in Qatar.
• Available to work 10 hours/day, 6 days/week.
