Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the UAE, specifically within consultancy firms. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of local authorities (DEWA, DM, DCD, Telecom) and must possess a valid UAE driving license. Experience in warehouse and industrial projects is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, with a focus on warehouse developments.
• Ensure all designs comply with local authority regulations (DEWA, DM, DCD, Telecom).
• Prepare and review load schedules, single line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Attend site inspections, authority meetings, and technical discussions as needed.
• Oversee project progress to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen in the electrical department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 11+ years of UAE experience in a consultancy environment is mandatory.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Proven experience handling authority approvals with DEWA, DM, DCD, Etisalat/Du.
• Strong portfolio of warehouse or industrial projects.
• Excellent understanding of UAE building codes and electrical regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux, and relevant electrical design tools.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Preferred:

• Membership in Society of Engineers (UAE).
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED18,000.00 per month
