Electrical Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Electrical Engineer with 5 years of professional experience to design, develop, implement, and maintain electrical systems and solutions across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, hands-on field experience, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Develop electrical designs, schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, circuit design, and equipment selection.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes .

Project Execution

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (LV/MV/HV depending on project scope).
• Provide technical guidance to site teams during construction and implementation stages.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety, and adherence to design requirements.

Operation & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot electrical system issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motors, control panels, and lighting systems.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, specifications, test procedures, and operation manuals.
• Maintain project documentation including drawings, BOQs, as-built records, and inspection reports.
• Support preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and material submittals.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical works adhere to safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and promote safe electrical practices on-site.
• Participate in safety and quality audits as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, construction, maintenance, or project engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, distribution networks, and control systems.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
