Job description MEP(Electrical) Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Experience(3-6 years) in MEP project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with project management software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings and ensure goods match specifications.
• Coordinate project scheduling and monitor progress.
• Approve method statements for tasks like conduit laying and switchboard fixing.
• Conduct regular site visits to track construction progress.
• Approve vendors for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing supplies.
• Prepare and update the detailed construction program.
• Review and issue Requests for Information (RFI) and checklists.
• Approve rates and claims for additional work outside the BOQ.
• Coordinate with MEP contractors to resolve installation issues.
• Attend meetings with clients and contractors for technical discussions.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
• Inspect MEP work on-site according to shop drawings and methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• MEP (Electrical): 5 years (Required)
