MEP: Draftsman/ Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman / Electrical Engineer to join our team for luxury villa fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing MEP shop drawings related to Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems, ensuring seamless integration of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the villa fit-outs. The role requires proficiency in electrical drafting, HVAC layouts, and plumbing schematics, along with a strong ability to collaborate with engineers and consultants for project coordination.

• Prepare and develop MEP shop drawings including Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing layouts for luxury villa fit-out projects.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Electrical drafting including Load Schedules, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and DB schedules.
• Draft detailed HVAC layouts (single line & double line) including ducting, FCU placement, and diffuser layouts.
• Prepare Plumbing and water supply layouts including drainage, water supply, and pump schematics.
• Create and update coordination drawings to resolve clashes between services and interior/civil works.
• Support site engineers with as-built drawings and revisions.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure compliance with consultant/authority standards.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and site teams for approvals and revisions.
• Adequate Knowledge in HVAC and Plumbing is highly recommended.

Requirements

• Diploma / bachelor’s in electrical engineering.
• 2-3 years of drafting experience in luxury villa fit-out projects in UAE.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Revit MEP (mandatory).
• Experience in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with DEWA, and Dubai Municipality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to deliver drawings under tight deadlines.
• Diving licence is an added benefit.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
