JOB SUMMARY:

The Electrical Estimation and Costing Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quotations, and BOQs for LT Panels and related electrical systems. The role involves detailed analysis of technical drawings, tender documents, and client specifications to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Study and analyze electrical drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and specifications for LT Panels and power distribution systems.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and Quotation proposals for LT Panels, control panels, and other Electrical equipment.
• Identify and evaluate material requirements, quantities, and standard components like ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, Contactors, Relays, Busbars, etc.
• Coordinate with the design team to validate technical feasibility and compliance with standards (IS/IEC).
• Communicate with suppliers/ vendors for obtaining quotations and negotiating component prices.
• Prepare technical and commercial bids for tenders and client inquiries.
• Support the sales and project team by providing cost breakdowns and pricing justifications.
• Maintain updated records of vendor pricing, material costs, and market trends.
• Suggest cost optimization methods and value engineering whenever applicable.
• Ensure estimation accuracy, timely submission of offers, and adherence to company pricing policies.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Strong knowledge of LT Panels, electrical switchgear components, and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Estimation software/ tools.
• Good understanding of electrical standards (IS/IEC) and panel manufacturing practices.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Effective communication and vendor management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma/ B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Salary Range: As per industry standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
