Study the opportunity, type of risks and collaborate with Tendering Manager in Go/No-Go evaluations for Invitations.
Prepare high level estimates for the newly received tenders.
Supervise the team, manage their workload, monitor daily tasks and achievements.
Coach the staff for using department tools, BOQ estimations and actual cost calculations.
Manage the stakeholders' interface with the team and discuss with customers scope battery limits and security of payment.
Identify red flags, scope uncertainties, or risks in tender documents and raise necessary alerts for consideration.
Monitor proposal completion process in terms of time and quality.
Ensure our proposal covers all required scope as per RFP, client satisfaction and compliance with client requirements.
Study/Assess risks and related mitigation plans associated by each tender.
Blue/Red reviews for technical and commercial proposals. Manage proposal life cycle to meet tender due date.
Attend meeting with Clients, suppliers, engineering firms and stakeholders.
Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best prices during tender stage.
Lead internal reviews on direct cost estimates and orient team toward competition level.
Supervise the preparation of indirect cost estimates and propose tailored strategies per tender.
Oversee supplier/vendor interactions to ensure optimal pricing and value propositions in line with bid goals.
Interface with engineering, procurement, planning, contract and legal departments to ensure integrated and compliant bid submissions.
Interface with finance, project control and treasury for cash flow/payment schedule.
Finalize job costing covering all required scope as per tender document and proposing the optimized figures.
Prepare/Review commercial proposal documentation (price breakdowns, forms, summary sheets), make the proper front loading for cash flow enhancement in full coordination with business unit heads.
Initiate successful bid handovers with the proper budget files and knowledge transfer.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- From 10-15+ years of experience.

High proficiency in cost estimation tools, tender software (

), and advanced Excel
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills
Solid understanding of market rates, vendor networks, and technical specifications
