Electrical Estimation & Proposal Intern

About the Role:
We are offering an exciting Trainee opportunity for fresh graduates in Electrical Engineering to gain hands-on exposure in estimation and proposal development. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in project estimation and proposals within the electrical and automation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates, including materials and labor.
• Help in drafting technical and commercial proposals under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to collect quotations.
• Maintain databases of quotations, proposals, and cost information.
• Learn industry standards, pricing strategies, and proposal development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - completed in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Prior internship experience will be preferred.
• Strong interest in estimation, tendering, and proposals.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environment.
