Electrical Fabricator - Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Fabricator – Contract to join our project team in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of cable trays, conduits, electrical support structures, and panels for industrial and EPC projects. The ideal candidate should possess excellent fabrication, welding, and installation skills while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesCable Tray Fabrication & Installation

• Fabricate and install cable trays and accessories, including:
• Horizontal and vertical bends
• Tee sections
• Reducers
• Junctions
• Half-side bends
• 90° bends
• Ensure proper alignment, support, and installation of cable tray systems in accordance with approved drawings.

Conduit Fabrication & Installation

• Perform fabrication and installation of GI conduits, including:
• 90° bends
• 45° bends
• Half-side bends
• Offset bends
• Saddle bends
• Install and fabricate SS tubing, MS conduits, and associated support structures.

Welding & Fabrication

• Carry out electrical welding for conduit supports, cable trays, channels, structural brackets, and mounting frames.
• Fabricate and install support structures as per engineering specifications.

Electrical Installation

• Install electrical panels in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Perform cable laying, conduit installation, and cable support works.
• Install and align channels, supports, brackets, and mounting structures.

Quality, Safety & Coordination

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, layouts, and isometric drawings.
• Ensure all fabrication and installation work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete assigned work within project schedules.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, permit-to-work requirements, and site regulations.

Qualifications

• Matric, DAE in Electrical Technology or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Relevant certifications in fabrication, welding, or industrial safety will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Fabricator.
• Proven experience in EPC, industrial, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in cable tray fabrication, conduit installation, electrical panel installation, and structural support fabrication.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of cable tray fabrication and installation techniques.
• Expertise in GI conduit bending and installation.
• Hands-on experience with SS tubing, MS conduits, and structural fabrication.
• Proficiency in electrical welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering, fabrication, and isometric drawings.
• Good understanding of electrical installation standards and HSE requirements.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
