Electrical Foreman

· Supervise and lead a team of electricians and helpers during installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine electrical systems.

· Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to shipboard electrical systems.

· Plan daily tasks, allocate manpower, and ensure job completion within time and budget.

· Monitor and enforce safety procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards (e.g., SOLAS, IMO, ABS, DNV).

· Oversee installation and testing of electrical components like switchboards, lighting, power distribution, automation, navigation, communication systems, and control panels.

· Coordinate with other departments such as mechanical, piping, and QA/QC for smooth workflow.

· Prepare and maintain job progress reports, timesheets, and material usage logs.

· Assist in commissioning, sea trials, and fault diagnostics of ship systems.

· Ensure compliance with electrical codes, marine regulations, and classification society requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED3,600.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• marine or shipyard industry: 5 years (Required)
