Job Title: Electrical General Foreman

Department: Electrical / Projects

Reports To: Project Manager / Electrical Manager / Site Manager

Job Summary

The Electrical General Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical installation, maintenance, and testing activities at project sites. The role ensures that electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

-Supervise and manage electrical foremen, electricians, technicians, and helpers on site.

-Plan, organize, and allocate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials for daily activities.

-Review electrical drawings, specifications, and work schedules before execution.

-Ensure all electrical installations are carried out according to approved drawings, project requirements, and applicable regulations.

-Monitor work progress and ensure completion within project timelines.

-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines to avoid work conflicts and delays.

-Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

-Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and rectify deficiencies when required.

-Report manpower utilization, work progress, material requirements, and site issues to management.

-Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company assets.

-Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

-Maintain accurate records of site activities, attendance, and completed work.

-Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site.

-Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, company policies, and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction, installation, and site supervision ( They should have experience in different type of projects (villas , schools , tower residential and commercial)

-Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.

-Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

-Knowledge of electrical safety standards and construction regulations.

-Proficiency in preparing daily reports and coordinating site activities.
