Electrical Improver – Peterborough Area

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Improver to join a growing company based in the Peterborough area on a permanent basis.

Role responsibilities:

• Assisting electricians with installations and maintenance
• Supporting solar PV installations (training provided)
• Assisting with rewiring and new electrical installations
• Basic fault finding and testing support
• Cable installation, containment and first fix works
• Assisting with EV charger installations
• Working in domestic, commercial and industrial environments
• Maintaining high health and safety standards on site

Requirements:

• ECS Card (Electrical Labourer / Trainee / Improver)
• Basic electrical knowledge / experience on site
• 18th Edition (preferred but not essential)
• Willingness to learn and progress
• Good attitude and reliability

Package:

• £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Paid overtime and enhanced weekend rates

Additional information:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Applicants should be based within approximately 30 miles or up to 40–45 minutes from Peterborough
