Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our consultant firm with immediate availability. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inspecting electrical works for villa and residential projects, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and final inspections of electrical installations for villa and residential projects.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with local authority regulations, national electrical codes, and project specifications.
• Review approved drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests (IRs).
• Identify non-conformities, issue snag lists, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, project engineers, and client representatives to resolve inspection issues.
• Verify testing and commissioning results for electrical systems.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and recommendations.
• Monitor site activities to ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
• Attend site meetings as required and provide technical input.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Electrical Inspector certification or equivalent (as per local authority requirements).
• Valid driving license is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector.
• Mandatory experience in villa / residential projects.
• Prior experience working with a consultant firm is required.
• Strong knowledge of authority requirements and inspection procedures.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in preparing inspection reports and documentation.
