About the Role: SME Electromechanical is seeking a detailed-oriented Electrical Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial aspects of our G+5 residential project. You will be responsible for cost estimation, variations, and material take-offs specifically for the electrical package, ensuring project profitability and adherence to budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Tendering: Prepare accurate BOQs and cost estimates for electrical systems, including Power, Lighting, ELV, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Material Take-off: Conduct detailed material take-offs from approved shop drawings to ensure precise procurement and minimal wastage.
• Variation Management: Identify, value, and negotiate site variations and additional works, ensuring all claims are supported by proper documentation and site measurements.
• Progress Valuation: Prepare and submit monthly progress payment applications and verify subcontractor invoices based on actual site progress.
• Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation of tender documents and review contract terms related to the electrical scope.
• Cost Control: Monitor project expenses against the budget and provide regular cost reports to the MEP Manager.

Mandatory Requirements:

• UAE Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Electrical/MEP works in the UAE.
• Project History: Proven track record of handling commercial aspects for mid-rise residential projects (G+5 to G+20) in Dubai.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; strong understanding of POMI or SMM7 measurement standards.
• Logistics: Must hold a Valid UAE Driving License.
• Availability: Immediate joiners (Visit Visa, Freelance Visa, or Cancelled Visa) will be prioritized.

Package Details:

• Monthly Salary: AED 8,000 – 10,000 (Total package).
• Note: As per company policy, SME Electromechanical does not provide accommodation or transportation for personal use.
