Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Mod Offshore also aims to provide significant support to clients by assisting in the execution of engineering projects and strategic Asset Management Plans (AMP) for their offshore ventures.

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and results-oriented team player to join us as Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers who are motivated to specialize in Offshore Industry.

Our SPS project is in Zonguldak, Çaycuma and reactivation is offshore and Filyos and Mersin Taşucu ports.


Qualifications & Skills


Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years engineering experience
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Zonguldak/Çaycuma

Preferred:

  • Experience with NOV, Kawasaki, ABB, Siemens equipment
  • Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and industrial automation
  • Experience with HV/LV electrical systems and power distribution
  • Familiarity with NOV equipment (drawworks, top drives, BOP controls)
  • Knowledge of industry standards (IEC, ATEX, DNV, ABS, API)
  • Resource planning skills based on operational requirements
  • Valid offshore certifications (Fitness for Work, BOSIET, HUET, Medical)
  • Proficient in electrical schematics and P&IDs interpretation
  • Willingness to work offshore


Job Description

  • Perform electrical system inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for safe operations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment status documentation
  • Optimize electrical and instrumentation systems for improved performance
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment including motors, generators, control panels, and sensors
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards
