14. ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION SUPERVISOR
Job Purpose: Supervise all electrical and instrumentation installation, termination, and testing activities including cable pulling, instrument hook-up, loop checking, and fiber optic works in live substation and hazardous area refinery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise cable pulling in congested tray routes near live substations
Coordinate instrument installation and hook-up activities
Manage junction box installation, cable entry preparation, and termination
Oversee loop checking and functional testing coordination
Supervise fiber optic splicing and OTDR testing activities
Coordinate HV cable termination (MV motor connections)
Ensure work in live substation proximity follows insulated tools and barricade protocols
Manage E&I work crews and technicians
Coordinate with E&I QA/QC Engineer for inspection and testing
Verify earthing continuity and resistance testing
Ensure compliance with hazardous area classification (IEC/ATEX)
Maintain E&I installation records and red mark-up drawings
Mandatory Requirements:
8+ years E&I installation experience with 5+ years in KSA
Refinery E&I brownfield experience (SABIC/Aramco)
Live substation work experience
Cable termination and instrument hook-up expertise
Fiber optic splicing and testing knowledge
H2S, electrical safety, and confined space certification
Transferable Iqama
Preferred:
SASREF or SABIC refinery E&I experience
Fiber optic splicing certification
HV electrical certification
IEC 61508/61511 functional safety knowledge
Salary Range: SAR 10,000 – 16,000/month
Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼16,000.00 per month
