Roles and responsibility

• Inspection and Maintenance: Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure their proper function and longevity.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults, malfunctions, and system failures. This includes repairing or replacing faulty components, cables, and transformers.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unexpected equipment breakdowns and optimize system performance.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems comply with national and international safety standards, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment conditions.
• Spare Parts Management: Manage the inventory of essential spare electrical parts and components, ensuring adequate stock levels

Technical skillset

• Electrical Systems Knowledge: A deep understanding of electrical systems, components, and power distribution.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: The ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Experience in implementing schedules and procedures to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Schematic Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• PLC Programming: Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers for automation and control systems.
• Circuit Analysis & Design: Understanding of circuit analysis and potentially basic circuit design principles.
• Safety Procedures: Comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations, such as those from OSHA.
• Use of Tools: Familiarity with diagnostic equipment like multimeters and GFCI testers.
