Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform daily inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, power distribution networks, motors, drives, and control systems.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and standards.
  • Support the testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical systems and new installations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Section Heads to address complex technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure accurate execution of work orders and adherence to safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Conduct failure investigations to determine root causes and assist in developing corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for energy savings, process improvements, and system reliability enhancements.
  • Support modifications and upgrades of electrical equipment based on operational needs.
  • Maintain technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Record all maintenance activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to maintain accurate asset history.
  • Provide feedback to planning teams to refine maintenance schedules and spare part requirements.
  • Prepare reports on breakdown trends, maintenance KPIs, and corrective action effectiveness.
  • Strictly follow electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Report and mitigate unsafe conditions or hazards in coordination with HSE teams.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and production teams to address cross-disciplinary issues.
  • Identify required spare parts for equipment repairs and raise requests through the proper channels.
  • Support evaluation of suppliers and maintenance service providers for quality and reliability.


Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Electrical Equipment Maintenance (LV/MV systems, motors, switchgear, transformers)
  • Troubleshooting Electrical & Control Systems
  • Basic PLC & Automation Systems Knowledge
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Practice
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Techniques
  • Maintenance Documentation & CMMS Usage
  • Understanding of Electrical Standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA)
