Electrical Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical machines, systems, and equipment.
- Inspect electrical components (motors, panels, wiring, relays, PLCs, drives) and ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
- Diagnose faults using testing tools like multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, etc.
- Repair or replace defective parts to minimize downtime.
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in installing new electrical equipment, panels, and wiring systems.
- Support commissioning and testing of new machinery and electrical upgrades.
- Ensure installations comply with electrical codes and safety standards.
Troubleshooting
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls and resolve electrical issues promptly.
- Analyze recurring problems and suggest improvements to prevent future failures.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout-tagout (LOTO), and company policies.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance works, repairs, and electrical checks.
- Report major faults and maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
- Keep inventory of tools, spare parts, and electrical components.
3. Required QualificationsEducation
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- 2–5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred).
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and PLC logic (basic knowledge preferred).
- Hands-on experience with motors, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and industrial machines.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of safety procedures and electrical standards.
