Job Description – Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Feed Manufacturing Unit

Role Summary

Responsible for supervising and executing all electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems and machinery in the feed manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, VFDs, conveyors, pellet mills, and plant utilities.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.

Oversee control panels, PLCs, automation, and power distribution systems.

Implement preventive maintenance schedules and maintain records.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety and statutory regulations.

Lead and train electricians/technicians for effective maintenance execution.

Manage electrical spares inventory and coordinate with procurement.

Drive energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in poultry feed /food /process industries.

Strong knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.

Good knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
