Electrical MEP Engineer - Electromechanical Project

We are seeking an experienced Electrical MEP Engineer with strong expertise in electrical systems for construction and electromechanical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical design, execution, testing, and coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and supervise electrical systems for MEP and construction projects
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems
• Review single line diagrams (SLDs), shop drawings, load schedules, and technical submittals
• Manage LV systems, lighting, power distribution, cable routing, panels, and earthing systems
• Monitor site activities, track project progress, and ensure work is completed as per specifications and timelines
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical and site-related issues
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, including Dubai Electricity and Water Authority standards and project requirements
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective technical solutions during project execution
• Maintain quality, safety, and documentation standards throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience in MEP and construction projects
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical site execution, testing, and commissioning
• Good understanding of LV systems, power distribution, lighting, and electrical drawings
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and approval processes
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under project deadline

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
