We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with strong Testing & Commissioning (T&C) expertise to support our EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in MV/LV switchgear systems, transformers, protection & control schemes, and field commissioning activities.
Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3–5 Years (MV & LV Switchgear, Transformers, RMU Equipment)
Key Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities
- Identify and correct mistakes in electrical schematics and drawings.
- Perform testing of LV, MV, and HV switchgears, including CTs, VTs, Circuit Breakers, Relays, and Energy Meters.
- Conduct testing of HV and LV power cables.
- Perform testing of power and distribution transformers.
- Execute secondary injection testing for CTs, VTs, and protection relays.
- Implement schematic modifications at site, including relay and meter replacements.
- Prepare red-mark-up drawings after site modifications.
- Carry out schematic verification and interlock checks.
- Perform alarm and annunciation testing, including signal initiation and verification.
Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with OEMs for technical clarifications and issue resolution.
- Manage and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at OEM premises.
- Utilize design knowledge for reviewing technical drawings (advantageous).
- Provide project coordination support as required by site conditions.
- Prepare cable schedules based on schematic and GA drawings.
- Attend client meetings to present work progress and address technical concerns.

- Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV equipment and protection schemes
- Knowledge of electrical design and drawings
- Hands-on experience with testing tools and equipment
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to coordinate with OEMs, clients, and site teams
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
