Electrical QAQC Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Prepare the project quality plan immediately after the award of the project for submission
• Attend all post-contract meetings
• Coordinate with the QA/QC Manager/Engineer of the main contractor to understand the main quality plan
• Arrange and agree with all formats for submissions
• Coordinate with Project Engineers as to how to proceed with work on site and the method of requesting approvals for material work executed.
• Verify the material submission for acceptance of quality standards required by the client/engineer to an optimum level
• Keep constant monitoring of the preparation of the workshop drawings to maintain the required quality standards
• Keep a constant watch on site activities to decide and advise on the sequence of operations
• Give interim notices to company engineers with the idea of avoiding possible issuances of non-conformance reports
• Attend to and dispose of all NCRS/NCNS issued without delays or cost implications
• Advise effectively in the preparation of ‘as built’ submissions – drawings and o & manuals
• Monitor the performances of all subcontractors and advise the PM
• Take an active part in close out documentation
• Advise to solve technical discrepancies
• Advise on safety maintenance at the site

REQUIREMENTS:

• Electrical Engineer
• Proven work experience in QAQC or a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methodologies, and quality standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
